It's a fact of life that things must be cleaned and propertly maintained to ensure the  good working use. Our parish has been home to Santa Barbara Catholics for over 230 years, including more than 90 years in our current location. To continue to ensure a pleasant worship experience our big, beautiful church requires weekly cleaning.

We are blessed with two part-time janitors who keep our facilites in clean working order, however the altar, side altars, entrances and sanctuary require weekly detailed care and cleaning from loving volunteers.

Join this dedicated group each Friday (or Thursday on weeks with a First Friday) from 7:30am–8:30am, after the 7:00am Mass.

The Ministry dusts all statues, Stations of the Cross and candle stands; removes old flowers; straightens the missals in the pews; cleans the altars, sacristy, communion rails and vestibule. They replace the holy water in the vessels and generally keeps our church looking beautiful!
