In line with the Church’s mission to bring the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, and to serve one another, this Ministry works to:
FOSTER belief in the sanctity of every human life, from conception to natural death.
EDUCATE parishioners on Catholic Social Teachings, which address crucial moral issues affecting human life (Abortion, Contraception, Assisted Suicide, Religious Liberty, etc.).
DEVELOP witnesses who serve within their families, social groups, and the political community to build a culture of life.
PROGRAMS and EVENTS to implement the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops 2018-2019 theme :
“EVERY LIFE CHERISHED, CHOSEN, SENT”
40 Days for Life, Fall Campaign: Wednesday, Sept. 26 – Nov. 4. Daily prayer from 8:00 am – 5pm at Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic, 518 E. Haley Street, Santa Barbara. Participants sign up at local parishes to spend one hour per week praying for an end to abortion and the repeal of Roe vs Wade.
OneLifeLA: Saturday, January 19, 2019: Archdiocese of Los Angeles invites all parishes to attend OneLifeLA, joining with thousands of pro-life advocates to express solidarity with the Church and religious leaders who stand for life. Takes place in downtown LA, featuring guest speakers and valuable information; food and refreshments available on site.

40 Days for Life Spring Campaign which coincides with the 40 Days of Lent, from Ash Wednesday, March 6 to Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
